ND Lawmakers Approve Bill To Set Deadlines On Teacher Negotiations

(Bismarck, ND)  --  North Dakota lawmakers are sending a bill to set deadlines on teacher negotiations to Governor Doug Burgum's desk.  Both chambers approved the bill that gives unions until February 1st to organize for negotiations and gives teachers and the board until July 1st to make a deal.  Teachers say the bill is an attempt by school boards to eliminate any leverage they have.
