Anti-Mask Mandate Bill Gets Do Not Pass Recommendation

(Bismarck, ND)  --  The North Dakota Senate is considering an anti-mask mandate bill, after a Senate subcommittee offers a a "Do Not Pass" recommendation. The vote on that motion was 6-1 in favor of taking a stand against the bill.   The measure barely passed in the state House about a month ago.  Those supporting the bill say the government shouldn't be able to force people to wear a mask if they believe they can't.  Opposing senators say the statewide mandate is what enabled North Dakota children to go back to school.  The Senate Political Subdivisions committee recommended yesterday that the bill not be passed by the entire Senate.
