Coronavirus Tracker: 199 New Cases, One New Death in ND

(Bismarck, ND) -- Positivity rate in North Dakota is beginning to lower, but active cases and hospitalizations from COVID-19 continue to bump up. 

The state department of health reported an additional 199 cases of the virus Thursday, including 93 in Cass County.

One new death, a man in his 80s from Cass County, was also reported over the last 24 hours.

Active cases jumped by 94 Thursday to 888, while hospitalizations crossed back over the 20 mark to 21 state-wide. The daily positivity rate did show the lowest number so far this week at 3.17%. 

213,350 North Dakotans have recieved at least one dose of a Coronavirus vaccine, while at least 358,900 total shots have been administered.
