Mask Mandate Ends Today In Fargo

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo's mask mandate is set to expire today. This, as Cass County leads North Dakota with the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. There are 285 active cases of the coronavirus in Cass County, far more than any other county in the state.  Last Sunday, there were 198 active cases in Cass County.  Earlier this month, Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney said the mask mandate would likely be allowed to expire.  He said the factors that would guide his decision include the percentage of active cases and whether any variants of the virus exist that would send case numbers surging again.
