Minnesota Coronavirus Update for Monday, January 18th 2021

(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Department of Health has reported another 980 cases of Coronavirus over the past 24 hours. That brings the state total since the pandemic began up to 447,349. Of those who tested positive, 429,325 (or nearly 96%) have recovered. 

The state also reported 12 new deaths in the pass day, leading to a total of 5,939 since the pandemic began. Clay County has seen 6,516 cases and 80 deaths overall. 

Hennepin County is the most infected county in the state, with now over 92,900 cases and nearly 1,500 deaths overall.
