Poachers Wanted in Walsh County

(Grafton, ND)  --  The North Dakota Game and Fish Department and authorities in Walsh County are asking for the public's help catching wild turkey poachers. The Walsh County Sheriff's Office sent out a bulletin on Sunday saying at least 14 turkeys were poached from an area near Park River last month. Officials say Sheriff's deputies found the birds on the north side of the Homme Dam around 5 p.m. on December 16th. Anyone with information about the killings is asked to contact the Walsh County Sheriff or call the poaching hotline at 1-800-472-2121.
