Statewide Mask Mandate Allowed To Expire

(Bismarck, ND)  --  A statewide mask mandate is no longer in effect after being allowed to expire this morning.  Governor Doug Burgum announced last Friday that he would not extend the mandate past its 8 a.m. deadline today.  Burgum said he was lifting the mandate after a decline in the number of COVID-19 cases across North Dakota over the past few weeks.  The Governor asked residents to continue observing personal responsibility regarding masks and to follow local county guidelines where masks may still be required.
