NDDOT receives funding from USDOT to purchase buses

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Transit Administration awarded $15 million to the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) through the Buses and Bus Facilities Grant Program, which makes federal resources available to states and direct recipients to replace, rehabilitate, and purchase buses and related equipment and to construct bus-related facilities.

According to DOT, NDDOT will receive these funds to purchase new buses, which will improve the safety and reliability of transit service for residents in Bismarck-Mandan, Fargo-Moorhead, Grand Forks-East Grand Forks, and other communities throughout North Dakota.
