Sen. Cramer statement on a Federal Judge reinstating the Obama-era methane rule

 U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) issued the following statement on Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California reinstating the Obama Administration’s methane venting and flaring rule:

“Yet again, an activist judge got it wrong. The Obama Administration’s methane rule was a direct attack on America’s energy jobs. This rule should have been repealed by Congress in 2017, but we fell one vote short, with every Senate Democrat voting no. I look forward to working with North Dakota’s Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, like-minded states, and the Trump Administration to rectify this ruling out of California.”
