No new conditions will be placed on the Dakota Access Pipeline by state regulators.
That’s the word from the North Dakota Public Service Commission. Chairman of the Commission, Brian Kroshus, confirmed the results to WZFG News Thursday afternoon, following their work session Thursday morning. Kroshus says the work session was open to only members of the Public Service Commission staff and lawyers for the Commission.
In November, a nearly 15-hour meeting was held in Emmons County that allowed those with concerns to address them to all involved in the Dakota Access Pipeline project. In addition to the Commission, the concerns have been addressed by the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, or PHMSA.
