Second Lady Karen Pence, Lara Trump, and Kayleigh McEnany joined Women for Trump and a packed house for a panel discussion in advance of the President’s rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday night. Hundreds of women gathered at Union Depot in St. Paul to hear how women in Minnesota and across the country are benefitting under President Trump.

“From the economy to healthcare, President Trump and his administration have made significant progress for women in Minnesota and across the country,” said Kayleigh McEnany, National Press Secretary for Donald J. Trump for President. “Women are excelling in today’s economy with the national unemployment rate among women at its lowest in 66 years. Under President Trump, the unemployment rate in Minnesota has dropped from 4.0% to 3.3% and more than 53,000 Minnesotans have been lifted off food stamps. Meanwhile, 2020 Democrats threaten to upend this success with socialist policies like a government takeover of healthcare that would kick 3,447,400 Minnesotans off their plans. President Trump will continue to advance policies that empower women, families, and their communities.”

Women for Trump is empowering women to share their stories and successes during President Trump’s first term. This is part of a national grassroots effort to recruit and activate women who support the President ahead of the 2020 election. Women for Trump will champion the President’s message of “Promises Made. Promises Kept” across the country.
