Cramer: Williston to receive DOT grant for new airport

 

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) awarded a grant totaling $6,301,568 to the City of Williston, North Dakota.

The DOT funds will be used to complete the final phases of construction for the new Williston Basin International Airport. Specifically, the project will construct perimeter roads and security fencing to wrap up the long-awaited commercial airport associated with the city of Williston to meet current aviation demand.
