Leading up to the 99th anniversary of the establishment of women’s voting rights, more than 4,600 new members of the ‘Women for Trump’ coalition participated in a nationwide event: “An Evening to Empower” and Trump Victory Leadership Initiative training. In 14 separate events hosted by “Women for Trump” across 13 states this past Thursday, supporters of President Trump’s re-election gathered for training to become part of the massive Trump grassroots army.  The newly trained activists mobilized this past weekend and registered over 2,100 new voters across the country.  The efforts coincided with Women’s Equality Day, commemorating the adoption of the 19th Amendment on August 26, 1920, which guaranteed American women the right to vote.

Today, Women for Trump are proudly carrying on the tradition through voter registration efforts ahead of the 2020 election – by empowering others.

"Thousands of women from across the country came together to support President Trump’s re-election efforts. They were truly empowered to go into their communities, share their stories, and register thousands of people to vote,” said Kayleigh McEnany, National Press Secretary for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “Women for Trump is part of a significant movement equally important to the one 99 years ago today. President Trump’s historic policies have lifted women out of poverty, put more money back into the pockets of hard-working families, provided for paid family leave, and allowed more Americans to get back to work. President Trump has delivered more opportunities for women and working American families than any President in recent history.”

Women for Trump is empowering and encouraging women to share their stories, successes and experiences during the Trump Administration by undertaking national grassroots effort ahead of the 2020 election. Women for Trump will champion the President’s message of “Promises Made. Promises Kept.”
